KIMBERLY CAREW, LMHC, NCC
Counselor. Coach. Educator. Advocate. Entrepreneur. Travel Consultant.
My work sits at the intersection of mental health, personal development, education, professional advocacy, entrepreneurship, and human connection.
Across these different spaces, one thing remains consistent: I’m interested in helping people think differently, reconnect with what matters, and create possibilities for how we live, work, learn, and relate.

My professional journey has never fit neatly into one title.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor and National Certified Counselor. I’m also a coach, educator, doctoral scholar, advocate, entrepreneur, and travel consultant.
These roles may look different on paper, but they are connected by the questions that continue to shape my work:
How can we create more authentic ways of living and working?
How can we support people without asking them to lose themselves in the process?
And what becomes possible when we challenge the systems, expectations, and assumptions that no longer serve us?
That curiosity is what continues to guide my work.
Understanding people, wellbeing, human development, trauma, neurodiversity, and the experiences that shape how we move through the world.
Exploring authenticity, self-understanding, life transitions, intentional living, and the process of becoming more fully ourselves.
Connecting research, professional preparation, experiential learning, and real-world practice.
Questioning systems and professional structures that create unnecessary barriers and exploring more equitable possibilities.
Building new ideas, initiatives, and professional models that bring together wellbeing, education, connection, and innovation.
Creating opportunities for people to step outside familiar environments, reconnect, explore, and experience something different.
My professional work extends beyond a single practice or organization.
Some initiatives are established businesses. Others are developing projects, emerging concepts, or areas of exploration

Creating opportunities for counselors and mental health professionals to reconnect with themselves, their profession, and one another through shared experiences and professional community.

Exploring travel not simply as a destination, but as an opportunity for reflection, discovery, connection, and personal or professional growth.
My interests continue to evolve through professional practice, doctoral study, research, conversation, travel, and lived experience.
I’m particularly interested in questions surrounding:
Neurodiversity. Professional sustainability. Counselor autonomy. Education. Human connection. Behavioral health innovation. Authenticity.
I believe good ideas often begin with curiosity and that asking better questions can open the door to better possibilities.
“Better questions
lead to better
possibilities.”

Whether you’re interested in collaboration, speaking, education, advocacy, professional networking, or simply exchanging ideas, I’m always open to a thoughtful conversation.
Good work rarely happens in isolation.
